Bayern Munich legendary player Babel fiercely criticized the club's honorary chairman Heness in an interview with "Absolut Fussball", accusing him of being the main person responsible for the current dilemma of Bayern, especially in the transfer matters. He also defended the club's sports director Eber.

Early, Heness slammed Sky Sports and RTL expert Matteus at the end of June for commenting on the possible introduction of Stuttgart striker Walter Mard, he said that his transfer fee could be as high as 80 million to 100 million euros. In an interview with "Kickers", Heness angrily denounced: "Matus has a brain problem!" He also added: "These experts have long made me dislike it."

In response, Babel expressed confusion: "I haven't understood Hines's idea for a long time. As an expert, if a player signs a contract with the club until 2028 and the club is not under pressure to sell, it is completely reasonable for Mattus to express his personal opinion, which is his duty. But Heness publicly humiliates him. I want to know: What is the purpose of this?"

Babel said bluntly He criticized in a nonstop criticism: "He seems to be completely unaware of it. He is now Bayern's biggest trouble. His current damage to the club is far more than he has helped. CEO Dresen said, 'We won't talk about other clubs', but Henes said half an hour later: 'Waltermad is a super player, we are very happy to introduce him. I can't handle it this year, and we have to fight for it next year.' Henes's approach is completely unacceptable. Either you are formally involved or you quit completely. This half-swap state is a disaster for everyone . ”

He further pointed out: “Heres made great contributions to Bayern’s development, which is undeniable. But in my opinion, he must now make a choice: either re-engage and participate in management in the past (although the times have changed); or withdraw completely.”

Regarding Heeres’ temporary speech style, Babel concluded: “This kind of behavior of ‘I am bored, just make a random statement’ cannot be sustained. This is also why Bayern always loses whenever he enters a critical moment and details determine success or failure. Team team Round is very strong, and such a result is by no means accidental."

Babel also made a special remark for sports director Ebert: "In my opinion, Ebert is the most unlucky person. Every transaction will be exposed, and no transfer can be kept confidential. He always has to explain, defend, and take responsibility for all failures. This is really unfair."

Babel was born in Bayern youth training and played for Bayern's first team from 1991 to 2000 (from 1992 to 1994) when he was working as the club manager. The two were old acquaintances. He played in a total of 261 official games for Bayern.
