On October 17, "Gazzetta dello Sport" reported that Juventus was being investigated by UEFA and the cost of firing Jontoli.

According to the information disclosed by Juventus in its latest annual financial report, the club is being formally investigated by UEFA for suspected violations of the Financial Fair Play Act (FFP).

UEFA launched an investigation procedure on September 18 into the fact that Juventus may have exceeded the 60 million euro loss limit stipulated in the "Football Income Rules" during the three-year evaluation period from 2022 to 2025.

The club expects that UEFA will make a final ruling on this matter in the spring of 2026. Potential penalties could include a fine "which is not expected to be significant" and some sporting restrictions, such as being restricted on player registration lists for European competitions. However, the report also mentioned that the club met the regulations in 2024 on another key "team cost ratio" parameter, and is expected to continue to meet the standards in 2025.

The financial report also discloses the compensation details of top management personnel. Among them, the termination fee of former general manager Jontoli is 850,000 euros before tax, and comes with a potential payment clause of 500,000 euros related to re-employment. His fixed annual salary is more than 2.3 million euros, totaling approximately 3.65 million euros.

Jontoli's successor Damian Comolli received a signing bonus of 950,000 euros. In addition, the remuneration of club president Ferrero and CEO Scanavino is 400,000 euros and 800,000 euros respectively before tax.

At the same time, the ruling on Ronaldo’s appeal against Juventus has been postponed to January 12, 2026.
