Sochi sports director Igor Kudriyasov told Sports Express: "He suddenly suffered a hypertension crisis and was taken to the hospital by ambulance. His vital signs were stable."

Moreno, who coached Sochi since December 2023, suddenly felt uncomfortable when the team scored a goal 15 minutes before the end of the game. The live TV screen showed that the Catalan coach was helped by his assistant and went to the locker room passage.

After medical examinations confirmed that hospitalization was not required, 47-year-old Moreno had left the hospital on his own. Sochi, who has just advanced to the Russian Premier League this season, is currently at the bottom of the league, with only one draw and five losses in the six rounds.
