Hupu August 10th Daily Mail Manchester United reporter Nathan Salt updated the details of Hoylen's transfer.
AC Milan proposed to loan out of favored Manchester United striker Rasmus Hoylen for one season on loan for £4 million.
In the last pre-season friendly match between Old Trafford and Fiorentina, Ruben Amorin left the Danish player on the bench and did not play.
This is the clearest signal so far that Amorin does not intend to continue using him. In addition, this week, new striker Benjamin Sheshko, worth £73.7 million, moved from RB Leipzig and made his debut before the game.
Manchester United is preparing to sell Hoylen for a minimum price of £30 million, but the Daily Mail learned that AC Milan is seeking a loan contract for the 2025-26 season.
AC Milan offers a loan fee of £4 million, and if Hoylen performs well in Italy, he may also buy him out for £39 million.
Hoylen is eager to stay and compete for the main position, but Saturday's defeat clearly shows that he will not be in Amorin's future plans.
Hoylen is now facing a decision that Manchester United has withdrawn from Europe with only one game a week, meaning he has limited playing time, and may not even have it at all.
He has played 95 times for Manchester United and scored 26 goals since his transfer from Atlanta in the summer of 2023. He has been following the club throughout the summer to find a new No. 9 position to dominate the front line.
