August 23 According to foreign media reports, the Romanian Football Association recently imposed severe points deductions on the Crayova Club. They were deducted 94 points for owing former players, former coaches and Dynamo Bucharest.

The deduction of these 94 points is not a single violation penalty, but a result of the accumulated penalties for all previous violations of the Craiova Club.

In addition, Craiova has not obtained permission to participate in the Romanian League FC and can only participate in the Romanian League CFC in the new season. Romanian Football Association graces Crayova for submitting the payment certificate before 15:00 on September 3, 2025 local time. If it is not fulfilled, the team will face additional penalties and may even be completely expelled from all competitions. Adrian Mititelu, the owner of the

Crayova Club, did not endorse the penalty decision, claiming that it lacked legal basis. He stressed that all rulings will be challenged through appeal, and he publicly stated in Romanian media: "The problem will always be resolved and we will not be excluded from the league."
