October 21st, in the third round of the UEFA Champions League, Barcelona faced Olympiacos at home. By then, Yamal, who is only 18 years and 100 days old, is expected to become the youngest player in the history of the Champions League to complete 25 games, surpassing Paris midfielder Zaire Emery's record (19 years and 32 days).

In these 25 games, Yamal has achieved 14 wins, 7 losses and 3 draws, scoring 5 goals and contributing 6 assists. He has proven himself to be one of the most promising talents in European football.

At the age of 16 years and 83 days, Yamal became the youngest starting player in the history of the Champions League. That game was Barcelona against Porto. Before that, he made his debut against Antwerp and helped the team win easily. In the same season, he broke another record. At the age of 16 years and 223 days, he became the youngest player to participate in the Champions League knockout stage and participated in the first leg of the 1/8 finals against Naples.

A few weeks later, Yamal set another historical record, becoming the youngest player to participate in the Champions League quarter-finals at the age of 16 years and 272 days, against Paris. When he was under 17 years old, he also set another record: becoming the youngest player in the history of the Champions League to complete 10 games at the age of 16 years and 278 days.

As time goes by, Yamal not only continues to increase the number of appearances, but also gradually exerts a greater influence in the game. At the age of 17 years and 241 days, Yamal became the youngest player in the history of the Champions League to score and assist in a single game, helping the team achieve a key victory against Benfica. Soon after, he broke the record again when he was 17 years and 270 days old, becoming the youngest player in the history of the Champions League to complete 20 games.

Yamal’s most shocking performance came in the semifinals against Inter Milan. At 17 years and 291 days old, Yamal became the youngest scorer in the history of the Champions League semi-finals, breaking the record previously held by Kylian Mbappe. In that game, he performed well, constantly breaking through the opponent's defense, creating opportunities, and scoring a goal.
