Without Curry, Green uses his actions to show that the Warriors cannot win the ball

5:50pm, 15 May 2025Basketball

On May 11, in the second round of the NBA playoffs, the Warriors lost to the Timberwolves 97-102 at home, and the total score reached 1-2.

It is worth noting that in the second game when Curry was absent due to injury, Zhu Meng Green was in no state. He only played 29 minutes in the game, left the game with 6 fouls, and only scored 2 points, 2 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals.

After Curry was injured, Zhu Meng Green, a veteran of the Warriors' four-time champion, should have set the best example on both offense and defense, but he told the league with impulsive behavior: "If Curry is here, I will surrender first."

G2, Zhu Meng Green scored 9 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists, but hit Reed in the head with an elbow in the second quarter, resulting in a technical foul, which also made Minnesota fans restless. The Timberwolves team made a concerted effort and defeated the Warriors 117-93.

G3, Zhu Meng Green even used too much defense, resulting in more fouls, and his personal playing time was cut. In the fourth quarter, he had 6 minutes left, and he got the 6th foul and ended early, which also made the Warriors who were close to winning a victory eventually lose.

The playoffs has reached now, Zhu Meng Green has received 5 technical fouls, and 2 more times, he will be suspended for one game. If it happened in this round against the Timberwolves, there would be almost no suspense for the Warriors to be eliminated.

Dream Chasing Green, this is indeed a controversial guy. Let's say he is tough, his height of 1.98 meters has indeed made contributions in the key defensive rounds. But his irritable temper and impulsive malicious behavior really made the Warriors lose many of the game wins in vain.

Curry is absent now, and Zhu Meng Green is really a little unconfident because he knows that the game will be difficult and he will even lose the series.

But, Green would rather die standing than lose~
