The Lakers offseason operation has been exposed! Three major center deals have been negotiated, and the mini middle class goal is chosen one of two

On June 18, according to Lakers' reporter Anthony Irwin, sources close to the team reiterated that the Lakers' internal plan is to get the starting center through a trade. They have negotiated with other teams on Clarkston, Robert Williams, Walker Kessler and others. Then, ideally, sign his substitute with 5.7 million mini-middle class — Brooke Lopez and Capela are the two names most often associated with the Lakers. This is a reliable plan that is believed to be possible to execute.

Irvin also said that this task is almost impossible when other teams in the league know that a team must take action. Sources close to the Lakers and the league said the deal negotiations did not work as the Lakers wanted, as teams once again tried to benefit directly from the Lakers' mistakes in the center position and mishandling of assets in the past few years.

Recent history makes this lesson particularly clear.

Butler made the situation so messed up that the Miami Heat suspended him, the rewards received were far from their value. After Fox asked to be traded, he was traded to the Spurs, mostly for long-term unfavorable contracts and several mid-draft picks, because the situation he was in had deteriorated. No matter where Durant is eventually traded by the Suns, it is likely that it wouldn't take much effort to get his team.

The key is: When other NBA executives know that a team is under tremendous pressure and must act as soon as possible, they try to take advantage of this situation and can almost always succeed to varying degrees. The Lakers’ frustration in the center market is madly aware that they should have learned from their recent experiences in the trading market, because the market knows clearly what they have to do.

"The worst situation you can put yourself in is to let everyone know your despair during negotiations," a former executive said of the dilemma. "The whole league knows that the Lakers not only need a starting center, but maybe a substitute, but they need to bring in players that Luca is willing to play side by side. They can basically only hope that some other team will also reach their current level of despair so that negotiations can be held on an equal basis."
