Summary of trade rumors: The Clippers are selling Collins and are interested in DeRozan. It will be difficult for the Mavericks to send away the thick eyebrows.

On November 25th, the NBA trade deadline will not arrive until February 5th, but as the first month of the season comes to an end, each team has begun to evaluate the transactions they want to make. Several big-name players may be put on the trade shelf, but it is still too early to facilitate substantial transactions. But that didn't stop the rumors from swirling before Thanksgiving.

But this is the norm in today's NBA: everything is fast-paced. If you want to take action for the championship, or make adjustments to be more fully prepared for the draft, you must seize the opportunity in the trade market as early as possible. Based on this background, the following are the latest rumors circulating in the NBA:

The Clippers are selling Collins and are interested in DeRozan.

According to a report from Mingjian Xidri, the Los Angeles Clippers are exploring trade options for forward John Collins in order to find a player with more lineup adaptability. Collins' expiring contract, worth $26.6 million, provides flexibility in salary matching in a potential trade. Collins has played in 17 games this season (including 8 starts), averaging 11.2 points, 4.8 rebounds and 0.5 assists per game. His role is limited in a rotation built around Harden (27.8 points per game) and Leonard (23.7 points per game).

Collins performed efficiently as a substitute, averaging 13.3 points per game, shooting 56.6% from the field, and 45.5% from three-point range. However, after becoming a starter, he averaged only 8.9 points per game, shooting 38.6% from the field, and 15.0% from three-point range.

The Kings seem to have planned to start a "fire sale mode" in the near future, and each team has also begun to set its sights on some players who may be traded. According to the famous reporter Amick, DeRozan is attracting the interest of the Clippers, partly because his contract for next season is partially guaranteed-of the total contract of $27 million, he can only get $10 million in guaranteed money. The Clippers struggled to start the season, going 5-12 in the previous month and ranking 21st in the league in offensive efficiency.

DeRozan's scoring ability will undoubtedly help the Clippers, but if he joins the 36-year-old, it will further increase the average age of the Clippers' lineup, which is already over-reliant on veterans, and today's NBA is in a fast-paced competitive environment. In addition, DeRozan has never been a quality defender, and the defensive problem is undoubtedly the core crux that the Clippers need to solve now.

It is difficult for the Mavericks to trade thick eyebrows

From the moment Nico Harrison was fired, Anthony Davis became a potential trade chip. But the problem is that he has been absent from the game since October 29 due to a calf strain. When he was healthy, Davis was obviously out of shape and struggled on the defensive end. So it's no surprise that league insiders believe it will be difficult for the Mavericks to trade him - his injury history is a major risk signal to other teams.

According to ESPN reporter Tim Bontemps, Davis' injuries and salary contracts of up to US$54.1 million, US$58.4 million, and US$62.7 million in the next three seasons are the main reasons for the forward's lack of interest.

If the 32-year-old Davis can return from injury and continue to show his competitive form without injury problems, the trading prospects may change. But judging from the current situation, there is a high probability that this potential transaction will not be finalized until closer to the trade deadline.

A three-goal trade is not impossible.

Previously, Yahoo Sports reporter Kelly Iko reported that Ball was dissatisfied with the direction of the Hornets and was willing to accept a trade. This news attracted widespread attention. Although Ball himself has come out to deny these rumors, that does not mean that a trade will not happen - whether it is actively promoted by the Charlotte Hornets or appealed by Ball. The famous reporter Jack Fisher reported that although it is too early to talk about Ball's trade, the Hornets may explore related possibilities before the deadline.

The 24-year-old Ball himself also has obvious risks, the most important of which is his recurring ankle injuries-so far in his career, he has played only 20 more games than Zion. But among all the big-name players mentioned, Sango undoubtedly has the highest trade value considering his age, talent and not entirely unreasonable contract.

The Grizzlies will explore the Morant trading market

Morant recently said that he has lost the fun of playing basketball. He was also suspended for one game for "conduct that harmed the interests of the team." The Grizzlies' current record is only 6 wins and 11 losses. The 26-year-old star is currently sidelined with a calf strain, but even when healthy, his statistics this season are close to career lows and his shooting ability has not improved. Coupled with his ongoing off-court issues over the years, this makes him likely to do more harm than good to the Grizzlies.

Famous reporter Bontemps reported that the Memphis Grizzlies will start exploring the trade market for Morant, but it will not be easy to find a trade offer worth considering. Considering all the above factors, this result is not surprising. Of course, we do not rule out the possibility that the Grizzlies' subsequent record will improve and these trade rumors will disappear.
