Former NBA star: Whitmore will complete an outbreak against the Rockets, but Jaylen Green may not be

In the latest episode of the Club 520 podcast, host Jeff Teague talked about the situation about Cam Whitmore and Jalen Green who were sent away by the Houston Rockets this summer. In Teague's view, Whitmore will be more likely to break out against his old team Rockets than Green.

Tiger said: Whitmore will be more likely to succeed in the revenge battle than Jaylen Green, and the former is more likely to play a 30-40-point revenge battle against the Rockets. Whitmore did not leave because of Durant's deal, he came because of cash transactions, right? A second round pick or something, but when he plays against the Rockets, he will definitely beat them up. As for Jaylen Green, I'm not sure whether he can do this. Ime Udoka might be excited about this kind of thing because he is a competitive coach. You see how he performed with the Boston Celtics, and I heard Kyrie Irving talk about this before, when Uduka left the Brooklyn Nets and went to the Celtics to coach. No matter which team he coaches, he has many ways to deal with players in this situation.

In the NBA regular season last season, Whitmore only got 51 opportunities in 82 games due to the team's tactical arrangements, averaging 16.2 minutes per game, averaging 9.4 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 0.6 steals, 0.3 blocks, and 0.9 turnovers and 0.9 fouls. His shooting percentage was 44.4%, a three-point shooting percentage of 35.5%, and a free throw shooting percentage of 75%. In the playoffs, Whitmore played 3 games in total, with averaging only 1.8 minutes per game. Due to the limited playing time, Whitmore did not score 1 point during the playoffs, with averaging only 0.3 rebounds per game, and no other data was recorded. His shooting percentage was 0% and his three-point shooting percentage was 0%. This summer, he was sent to the Washington Wizards by the Rockets.

In the NBA regular season last season, Green maintained a full attendance in 82 games. During his 32.9 minutes of playing time, Green averaged 21 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.4 assists, 0.9 steals, and 0.3 blocks, and had 2.5 turnovers and 1.5 fouls. He shot 42.3% from the field, 35.4% from three-point shooting percentage and 81.3% from free throws. In the playoffs, Green played 7 games in total, with averaging 31.3 minutes per game, averaging 13.3 points, 5.4 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 0.6 steals, and 0.3 blocks. He also had 1.4 turnovers and 0.9 fouls. His shooting percentage was 37.2%, his three-point shooting percentage was 29.5%, and his free throw shooting percentage was 66.7%. This summer, he was sent to the Phoenix Suns by the Rockets.

I wonder how these two players will perform after leaving the Rockets and moving to their new club. Can Whitmore prove his strength and gain a foothold in the Wizards and become a powerful scorer for the team? Can Green be a good partner with Devin Booker and help the Suns recover in their performance? Can two young players with good scoring abilities slap their old club in the face in the game against the Rockets after leaving the Rockets?
