NBA strength rankings: Warriors soar to second place, Lakers are sixth, Rockets fall out of top ten, Suns are last

The NBA regular season continues, and it has been a few days since the start of the new season. There is also a big gap between the rankings in the standings and the predictions before the start of the season. Problems within many teams are also gradually revealed. Earlier, the NBA officially announced the latest team strength ranking list. There are still quite a few changes compared to before. Next, let’s take a look at the specific situation. NBA strength rankings: The Warriors soared to No. 2, the Lakers No. 6, the Rockets fell out of the top ten, and the Suns ranked last (last ranking in parentheses).

Strength list 21-30: Celtics (19), Trail Blazers (22), Hornets (27), Pelicans (24), Pacers (17), Suns (25), Kings (26), Jazz (3) 0), Wizards (28), Nets (29)

Compared with the previous period, the ranking changes of many teams are still relatively small, just changing back and forth. After all, the strength gap between the following teams is still relatively large. There are two teams to focus on in this echelon. The first one is the Suns. The Suns' performance was not ideal and they suffered two consecutive losses. They were affected by the lack of defenders. Although Booker once again appeared at the point guard position after many years, he did not do a good job in sorting out the team. The team averaged only 23.3 assists per game, ranking 21st in the league, but averaged 18 turnovers per game, ranking seventh in the league. The assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.3 ranks 27th in the league. You must know that they have made major lineup adjustments during the offseason. Where this season will ultimately go depends on their subsequent performance.

The other one is the Pacers. The Pacers' current performance this season is that they have suffered three consecutive losses. As a team that has reached the finals before, the start of this season is not ideal, mainly due to injuries. There are currently as many as 8 people on the team's injury list. They were forced to make adjustments earlier, laying off Wiseman and signing the dunk king McClung. When they can recover from injuries, the Pacers will hopefully be able to get back on track.

Strength list 11-20: Rockets (7), Bucks (14), Magic (9), Heat (21), Eagles (12), Grizzlies (16), Bulls (23), 76ers (18), Mavericks (13), Raptors (20). The Rockets fell out of the top 10 from seventh place in the last period and are currently ranked 11th. The team's current predicament is the impact of the absence of the core backcourt due to injury. Despite constant attempts to put Amen in an open position and let Sheppard take on more responsibilities, the results were not ideal. After the first two games, Durant averaged 30+6 per game, while Shen Jing's average was 28+9+7. But it is still difficult for the team to win. What needs to be seen next is how Uduka makes further adjustments to the lineup. Let us wait and see when the championship-favorite Rockets can get back on track.

The Mavericks fell from 13th in the previous period to 19th in this period, and the decline was relatively large. Their current record is 1 win and 2 losses, and they just ended their losing streak in the last matchup. The good news is that the team's core state has improved, especially Flagg's first 20+ performance in his career. And he seemed to be gradually adapting to the open position during the game. If he can maintain it in the future, the Mavericks are expected to continue to improve their record.

Ranking 1-10: Thunder (1), Warriors (8), Nuggets (2), Knicks (4), Cavaliers (3), Lakers (10), Timberwolves (5), Spurs (15), Clippers (6), Pistons (11) The Lakers rose from 10th in the last period to sixth in this period. Although James is currently injured and Doncic will miss a week due to injury, in the last game, Reeves broke out and scored a quasi-triple-double of 50+11+9. More importantly, Ayton's condition has also improved. If this condition can be maintained, after Doncic returns, the Lakers will still be a team that cannot be underestimated.

The Warriors have improved the most in this echelon. From 8th in the last period to 2nd in this period, the team's current record is also 2 wins and 1 loss. Before the start, the Warriors were not a promising team, but Curry was in excellent form, and players such as Butler and Kuminga did a good job of sharing the pressure for the team, and they maintained their competitiveness. Veteran Horford has also shown his help to the team. If this Warriors can stay healthy, they will still be a competitive team in the Western Conference in the new season.
