Hold the veto power of trading! TA: Bill is open to trading but will pick the next & he wants to keep the sun

June 29th According to TA's famous reporter Fred Katz, a source who knows Bill's ideas revealed that Bill is open to the deal.
It is understood that Bill's current mentality is that he can accept being sent to a suitable next home before the transaction deadline, but he is more inclined to stay in the sun. Mainly because after the last deal, Bill and his family have moved to Los Angeles one after another and have begun to settle in Phoenix in the past season. If traded, Bill will have to move again and transfer children to school, or play ball away from his family. Both of these situations are unwilling to Bill.
It is reported that the Sun had considered buying out Bill's contract with an extension clause, but due to the rules, Bill needed to give up a large amount of money to buy out with an extension clause*. This is obviously what Bill doesn't want to do. But Bill can seek a new contract after the buyout to make up for his losses. Sources revealed that it is generally believed that Bill's current value should be about equal to a full middle class special case (annual salary of about $14.1 million).
Bill's current contract has two years to about US$110 million, and the contract has a veto on transactions.
*Note: The labor-management agreement stipulates that the total salary of players who have been cut/buyed out cannot exceed 15% of the salary cap (the salary cap of the new season is approximately US$154.6 million). The Suns have previously cut Liddle and Little, and their cumulative layoffs have reached US$3.8 million. The complete buyout Bills contract is $22 million per season ($110 million in five years paid), so according to calculations, Bills have to give up a salary of no less than about $13 million (about $2.6 million per season) in total before the Suns can buy it out with extended terms if it complies with the rules.
