July 12th ESPN reporter Ramona Shelburne and Brian Windhorst jointly wrote an article about the situation within the Lakers.
According to them, when the Bass family agreed to sell most of the team's shares to Mark Walter on June 18, Doncic was notified in advance and publicly expressed his congratulations on social media.
But the Los Angeles Lakers never directly informed LeBron James, who learned about the news from social media and did not comment on public platforms afterwards.
