May 18th, today, sports medicine expert and MD Jesse Morse tweeted to comment on the prospect of Nuggets forward Aaron Gordon, who suffered a left hamstring strain, playing in the second round of playoff tiebreak.
MyD.M. Morse wrote: "Is it possible for Aaron Gordon to play in Game 7? Yes. But the question is that his hamstring tissue is not ready to bear the pressure. Especially in a high-intensity NBA playoff tiebreak, lasting 20, 30 or even 40 minutes. Playing basketball with the kids? Of course. But it's not the kind of game. It's Game 7, you advance if you win and go home if you lose. What I'm worried about is that he might do more harm than good for the team on the court. Similar to the 'bait' in the NFL, but with only five people on the court, the Nuggets may not be able to bear using him as bait."
