On October 24, during the NBA regular season, the Warriors defeated the Nuggets 137-131 in overtime at home, winning two consecutive games. This game was very exciting. The Warriors took the initiative, but the Nuggets quickly reversed the situation and established a 14-point lead. However, in the second half, Curry regained his touch and began to help the team catch up with the score and use a three-pointer to force overtime. In overtime, the Warriors did not miss the opportunity. Butler's three-pointer and Curry's counterattack layup directly killed the game.

This game also made the fans excited. It was really fierce and the situation was very beautiful. This was not a duel always on the free throw line, but one wonderful goal after another. After scoring only 7 points on 3-of-8 shooting in the first half, Curry exploded in the second half. He scored 13 points in the third quarter, another 15 points in the final quarter, and 7 points in overtime, directly saving the Warriors and completing the opponent's Jokic. Curry played 37 minutes, making 14 of 25 shots, 6 of 12 three-pointers, 8 of 8 free throws, and scored 42 points, 6 rebounds, and 7 assists.

Curry saved the team in the second half, but Jokic was in poor condition. He felt bad throughout the game, especially in overtime. He failed to seize many opportunities and was even blocked by Kuminga. Played for 40 minutes, made 8 of 23 shots, 2 of 13 three-pointers, and scored a triple-double of 21 points, 13 rebounds and 10 assists. Unfortunately, he could not lead the team to win the game. This is the fourth time in Jokic's career that he has had a triple-double in the opening game, tying Big O for the most in history.

Jokic did not perform well, and the Nuggets were able to keep the score, thanks to Gordon's god coming down to earth. Played 38 minutes, made 17 of 21 shots, 10 of 11 three-pointers, scored a career-high 50 points, and had 8 rebounds and 2 assists. It really felt like he could hit every shot. It was his confrontation with Curry in the last quarter that gave the Nuggets a chance to reach overtime. Unfortunately, his career night failed to help the team win.

In addition to personal performance, the Warriors relied on more blossoming. Seven players in the team scored in double figures. Butler had 21 points and 6 assists, Green had 13 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists, and Horford had 13 points. Every player can make some contributions.

For the Nuggets, Murray scored 25 points and 10 assists, Hardaway Jr. scored 10 points, and Johnson, acquired in this summer's trade, was completely lost. He only scored 5 points on 1 of 6 three-pointers, and his effect was far inferior to Porter Jr.'s.
