World Sports: More than 10 Chelsea players return this summer is a headache, and they need to find a way to clean up the lineup again

May 11th, "World Sports" published an article today, talking about the problem of Chelsea's too large lineup.

Chelsea's lineup once expanded to 34 last summer, and now they are paying for the bloated roster. A large number of out-of-pocket players have plummeted, and they will return to the team all on July 1, forcing the club to deal with the issue of staying and leaving these players from scratch.

The most prominent examples include Diessey, Sterling, Felix and Kepa. Among these players with high salaries who are worth more than 50 million euros, except goalkeeper Kepa, the rest of their loan trips ended in complete failure.

But the problem is far more than that. Andre Santos, Ugochuku, Petrovic, Renato Vega, Chilville, Chuk Umeka, Bloa, Penders, Kaleb Willy, Gilchrist, Bashir Humphreys, and even David Washington, who is on loan to Santos (lease until December), will return, with a total of more than a dozen players, most of whom will appear at the Cobham base in less than two months in Chelsea training suits.

Chelsea management has begun to address the future of Maresca's unplanned players, aiming to ensure pre-season preparations are in order, while also requiring funds and free up cap space by selling players to strengthen the first team roster.
