Hupu, August 18th Nottingham Forest announced the signing of Arnold Calimuendo, who signed a five-year contract with the club.

The 23-year-old played well in the 2024/25 season, representing Rennes 34 times, scoring 18 goals and contributing 4 assists.

The French player started his career at Paris Saint-Germain at the age of 10 and honed his career at Paris Saint-Germain Academy.

At the age of 16, he represented the U19 national team in the UEFA Youth League. In 2020, he officially made his first team debut and renewed his contract with the 13-time Ligue 1 champion team the same year.

Calimundo played for Lons on loan twice and scored 21 goals in 65 games. He then ended his decade-long collaboration with Paris Saint-Germain, transferred to Brittany, and joined Rennes in August 2022. When signing, Kalimuendo said: "I was very honored when I heard that Forests were interested in me. It was a time to be proud of being able to join a team that performed strongly, had a long history and strong last year.

I was ready for the challenge and I came here with a lot of experience. I had a good season last year with goals and assists, but I wanted more and wanted to reach a new level here.

I couldn't wait to play in the Premier League and play at the city stadium. I watched last season and it was obvious that the fans created a great atmosphere. I was looking forward to seeing them and couldn't wait to start the game."
