Post: UEFA survey reveals England fans best among British Isles fans

On November 3, the "Daily Mail" reported that according to a UEFA survey, among football fans in the United Kingdom and Ireland, English fans performed best, and England was also hailed as a model of fair play.

UEFA’s latest fair play rankings for the 2024-25 season may surprise many people. The rankings comprehensively evaluate the three major dimensions of countries and their clubs’ overall fair play performance in UEFA competitions, their progress compared with last season, and fans’ behavioral norms.

In the special ranking of fan behavior, England ranked sixth, Northern Ireland ranked 12th, Wales ranked 14th, Scotland ranked 19th, and Ireland ranked 23rd.

In the overall ranking list, England topped the list with 8527 points, Moldova won the Most Improved Award, and the Faroe Islands won the title of Best Audience Behavior.

Scotland is ranked 15th overall, Ireland is 26th, Wales is 27th, and Northern Ireland is 28th.

The results of this ranking mean that the Football Association will receive 44,000 pounds of special funds to donate to its selected amateur or professional clubs to carry out fair play or sportsmanship-themed projects.
