Post: Menu missed out on England squad due to limited appearances at Manchester United, but England U21 considers calling him up

Although not selected for the England team, England U21 head coach Carsley is ready to give Menu a chance. They are players closer to the first team, but I think they can always be considered to return to the U21."

Carsley has contacted Menu and said: "They are both very valued players in the system. We will re-evaluate in each training camp. I believe that both of them are working hard to enter the senior national team."

Menu and Walton are widely regarded as one of the most technically gifted young midfielders in England in recent years. But for Menu, especially the lack of playing time at Manchester United coached by Amorim, this greatly affected his chances of returning to the national team.

Carsley added: "We selected them because they performed well in the club, or we think they have high potential. We can't influence the club's employment, and we can't control their playing time.
