Official: Mallorca loaned to Kumbra, the first Albanian player in team history

Hupu, August 18, Mallorca officially announced that Kumbra, born in Italy, officially joined the team. The 25-year-old defender was on loan from Roma until the end of the season.

Kumbra has Albanian nationality and is an active international player in the Albanian national team. He has played 24 times for the national team so far. He has also become the first Albanian player in Majorca's history.

Last season, Kumbra played for Espanyol on loan, making 36 appearances in La Liga and the Copa RE. Previously, he also played for Verona and Sassuolo in Serie A.

Kumbra said: "I am very happy to be here. I have talked to the sports director and the head coach, and they are very confident in me. When the club contacted me, I wanted to join the first time. I hope to play as many games as possible, help the team achieve the greatest success, and hope that everything goes well."
