September 8th news Real Madrid star Mbappe was interviewed by M6 TV. In the interview, he talked about his old club Paris Saint-Germain winning the Champions League championship.
Mbappe: I am happy for them because there are many friends of mine in the team. Paris Saint-Germain means a lot to me, I played there for 7 years and is still the longest stay in the club of my career. This victory is undoubtedly special, and I know how special this trophy is to the Parisian and to the fans. They ended up winning the championship, which, as I said before, is a reasonable result.
A few years ago we were very close to this trophy, and they accomplished what we didn't do that year - taking the last step. We have gone through the road ahead, but this last step is the most critical, it can put you in the top ranks. Because now, this club is going to enter a new stage, which is great for them and I wish them all the best.
