Manchester United may be looking to buy the captain of Sporting CP in the winter window! Amorim tests La Jue’s trust and hopes to sign a direct lineage for 60 million

Sir Jim Ratcliffe announced this week that he will give Ruben Amorim three years to prove that he can lead the team to re-emerge and show his strength. But the words are unfounded. Now the 40-year-old Portuguese coach hopes that the boss can provide evidence, that is, to introduce one of his direct descendants - Sporting CP captain Morten Urmande.

Manchester United failed to introduce a new midfielder in the summer window and now plans to take action in the winter transfer window in January. The club's only target this summer is Brighton's Carlos Baleba, but the other party's price tag is hundreds of millions of pounds, and La Jue cannot afford it. Now, Spain's "Fichajes Transfer Network" claims that Amorim hopes to introduce 26-year-old Danish international Jumande.

Yurmande is a direct descendant of Amorim. He joined Sporting CP from Lecce in 2023 and was appointed captain last year. Amorim seems to have a soft spot for the Danish players in Lecce. The first player he joined after coaching Manchester United was also the Danish international left-back Patrick Dogu from Lecce.

Yurmand has comprehensive abilities in the midfield and backfield, and has excellent ball control and position selection. Amorim believes that he has a "monster-like" mentality and ability. Since you want to coach at Manchester United for a long time, how can you not have one or two players who can be used easily? Western media claim that Manchester United is considering fulfilling Amorim’s wish.

According to Fichajes reports, Manchester United regards Urmande as a player that they can try to introduce first in the winter window, and it is expected to cost 60 million euros. The player's previous partnership with Amorim is believed to be the key to opening negotiations.

Sporting CP are unwilling to give up their captain, whose contract contains a release clause worth 80 million euros. However, he could still be allowed to leave if a convincing offer comes along. Urmande is also favored by Juventus and Tottenham.

Another Western media outlet, Mundo Deportivo, claimed that Manchester United is also interested in Real Madrid's French star Eduardo Camavinga. Manchester United had had close contact with Camavinga as early as when he was still playing at Rennes in Ligue 1. However, new factors could force the France midfielder to leave the Bernabeu.

Camavinga was injured several times last season and earlier this season. He has just recovered and has limited playing time, and new coach Xabi Alonso seems to prefer Jude Bellingham, Federico Valverde and Aureliano Chuameni. Camavinga is disappointed with his status and may seek a transfer.

However, this is more likely to be a rumored story about Barcelona's mouthpiece disrupting Real Madrid. The two teams are 2 points apart in La Liga this season, with Barcelona lagging behind. Therefore, Valverde and Camavinga of "Galaxy" have recently been "arranged" to transfer to the Red Devils. In fact, it is unlikely that Manchester United's new midfielder will come from Real Madrid.

Many Manchester United fans believe that Baleba, Adam Walton of Crystal Palace, and Elliott Anderson of Nottingham Forest should be the key players that the club should consider introducing, but it is difficult for them to transfer during the season.

Amorim also received bad news on the international match day. Young central defender Eden Haven was called up to represent the England U20 national youth team in Switzerland, but he was injured and fell to the ground in the first minute of his start. Although Haven played the first half after receiving treatment, he was replaced at halftime. Coach Ben Facher: "He did have something wrong. I don't think it's serious, but we'll have to see how it goes."
