May 28th, 39-year-old Milner started in the first three games of the season, but retired from injury when he drew 1-1 away with Arsenal and did not return until the last round of the Premier League. Recently, the player was interviewed by the official website of Brighton Club and talked about his injuries.

"I was hitting my knee during training before playing Arsenal, and I suffered a minor injury. The situation was stable at the time. I had a small test and my hamstrings reacted. So I had a knee surgery and repair and everything went well. I was originally expected to come back in early December. But during the operation, one of my nerves was damaged. After the operation, I couldn't lift my foot or toes, and it wasn't until the end of December that I felt some signs of recovery for the first time."

"It was a long and difficult recovery process, our medical team was excellent, and the work of the club's physiotherapist Sean Ducken was incredible. For a while, I wasn't even sure if I could go back to the court, not knowing that I was Is it possible to walk normally, let alone play football. Fortunately, all efforts paid off. It was very special to be able to play with my teammates today (Sunday) and see them turn the game around and be part of it in the second half. "

"I've been training on the lawn for months, but I still need to be careful to touch. Time is a little too short for me, and if the season starts next week, I think I'll fully recover and be ready to play. It's not about age, it's just one misfortune of thousands of chances. I started the season and I did a good job and felt good, just a little bit of luck. The injury was really frustrating, but I also tried to help the head coach and help my teammates off the court."
