Crystal Palace restarts chasing Bissek, players refuse to leave Inter Milan trade and still stalemate

7:51am, 2 August 2025Football

August 1: Premier League Crystal Palace Club has once again turned its attention to Inter Milan central defender Jan Bissek this summer, but the pursuit is still full of thorns. The 24-year-old German played 46 games for the Nerazzurri last season, contributing 3 goals and 2 assists, and the German price has risen to 35 million euros. As early as May, Crystal Palace proposed to exchange 30 million euros for Bissek because Inter Milan inquired about the team's central defender Mark Guy. Now they are willing to further increase the offer, but they are stuck to the players' personal wishes.

With only one year left before the 2026 World Cup, Bissek has no intention of leaving a giant team that can both compete for the Serie A championship and participate in the Champions League stably, and switch to Crystal Palace, which he thinks is "something in the Premier League". Even if the Hawks are willing to raise prices, players still tend to stay in Milan City. Unless there is a major attitude turning point, it is difficult to trade. In addition, Crystal Palace was forced to be reduced from the UEFA Cup to the European Union by UEFA because it is under the same subsidiary of Texter Capital as Lyon. The club has filed an appeal; while Gerry himself has negotiated a five-year contract with Liverpool. The countdown to leave the team has begun, and Crystal Palace has to urgently find a gun at the central defender.
