November 02 According to the Israeli Real Madrid Fans Association, an Israeli Real Madrid fan, Yigal Brodkin, died of cardiac arrest during last weekend’s Spanish El Clasico at the age of 50.

According to the "Daily Sports" report, Brodkin suffered a sudden cardiac arrest after Mbappe's penalty kick was saved. The fans nearby rescued him immediately. According to witnesses, someone at the scene shouted to suspend the game. It is said that Courtois also reminded the referee of what happened in the stands, but the game was not interrupted.

The medical team at the Bernabeu Stadium quickly gave the fan first aid and then transferred him to the hospital, but in the end they were unable to save Brodkin's life.

Brodkin's son wrote in a statement:

My father has been a loyal Real Madrid fan since 2009. He passed his love for the club on to each of us and our whole family are avid Madrid fans. Over the years, my father fulfilled his dream - he took each of his sons, and a few times his mother, to Madrid to watch Real Madrid play. These trips and experiences were the happiest moments of his life.

Unfortunately, just after Kylian Mbappe missed the penalty kick, his father suddenly suffered a cardiac arrest on the court. Although the medical team tried their best to save him, they were unable to save his life.
