NBA Finals may be in full swing, with the draft going on June 26-27, but the NBA offseason has already begun to steal headlines.
Phoenix Suns forward Kevin Durant has been the source of trade rumors throughout the summer. The two-time Finals MVP is probably the biggest domino to fall, which will help determine the offseason pattern. Teams across the league are also focusing on former MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo and his future with the Milwaukee Bucks. Elsewhere, the New York Knicks are still looking for a head coach, and the Boston Celtics are trying to figure out how to navigate their roster as Jason Tatum will miss most of next season.
The Memphis Grizzlies and Orlando Magic kicked off the trading season on Monday with a multi-player, multi-draft deal. Desmond Bane will travel to Orlando for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Cole Anthony, four future first-round picks and one future first-round pick exchange.

June 16: Durant is interested in the long-term contract renewal of the Heat, Spurs and Rockets
ESPN's Brian Windhorst said on "Get Up" that the Miami Heat, San Antonio Spurs and Houston Rockets have not offered a offer for Kevin Durant so far, and the Phoenix Suns are excited about it. The Minnesota Timberwolves are actively trying to sign Durant by the deadline and they are still in the mix.
"Minnesota has been the most aggressive team in these deal negotiations as far as I know," Windhorst said, adding that the Raptors and Clippers are sleeper teams, too.
"Toronto chose the No. 9 draft pick in this draft, which can be used in a variety of different situations besides some players, and I think the Los Angeles Clippers lurked there, too," he said. "But I want to say now that if I have to put a favorite team, I definitely think Minnesota is the most aggressive team."
June 16: Brian Windhorst, who is interested in Durant
ESPN, said on SportsCenter that in addition to the Houston Rockets, San Antonio Spurs and Miami Heat, there are several teams still lurking in Kevin Durant's trading map.
"[Kayley Leonard] has a roster of teams he prefers to go to," Windhorst said of Leonard's 2018 free agent. "His contract is one year left and the Toronto Raptors are willing to roll dice as a possible loan. Once again, you don't see Toronto on Durant's roster, but the Raptors are one of the teams lurking there, and they might be willing to do that, but don't know they can keep Durant and basically have a loan.
"I think there are a few others, including the Los Angeles Clippers and maybe even the Minnesota Timberwolves. It's still a big openness. Maybe Durant got what he wanted, maybe he had to accept something else. Sources told ESPN's Shams Charania that the Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to trade Desmond Bain to the Orlando Magic in exchange for Kentavius Caldwell-Pop, Cole Anthony, four unprotected first-round picks and one first-round pick exchange.
June 15: Adams and the Rockets renewed their contract with the Rockets for a three-year, $39 million contract, sources told ESPN's Sham 's Charania that the Houston Rockets and Steven Adams reached an agreement on a three-year, $39 million contract extension. Adams will turn 32 next month.
