The Asian Cup of Men's Basketball Team will start on August 5. The Chinese Men's Basketball Team announced the 23-man training list, led by Zhou Qi and Zhao Rui, and the Japanese Men's Basketball Team also started preparing for the 2018-year-old. The Japanese Men's Basketball Team announced the training list for preparing for this summer's Men's Basketball Team's Asian Cup, with as many as 42 people. Yuki Kawamura was on the list, without Yuta Watanabe.

The Japanese team has two active NBA players, namely Hachimura Shizuo of the Lakers and Yuki Kawamura of the Grizzlies. The former will basically no longer represent the Japanese team because of the incompatibility with the Japanese Basketball Association. Yuki Kawamura is a pure Japanese and has a high popularity in Japan. He looks forward to helping the Japanese team continue to create new history.

Yota Watanabe did not participate in this Asian Cup because of his injury. He then forwarded the training list on social media and said: "This summer, I decided not to participate in the Asian Cup. I have been injured repeatedly since I last year's Olympics, and my body has not fully recovered. This summer, I will concentrate on restoring my physical condition. It's a pity that I can't participate in the Asian Cup, but after the summer, I will show it to everyone after I recover." In the official promotional video of the Japanese Basketball Association, Yuki Kawamura spoke as the storefront and directly called out to lead the team to win the Asian Cup championship, showing his ambition! The Japanese men's basketball team has won two Asian Cup championships in history, in 1965 and 1971. The last championship was dated back to 54 years ago. The Japanese team won the runner-up in the Asian Cup in 1997, which is the best result of the Japanese team in the Asian Cup in 28 years.

Yuke Kawamura would create history if he could help the Japanese team win the championship. The Japanese men's basketball team made significant progress in the past four years, participated in two consecutive Olympics, defeating European strong teams like Finland, and NBA players such as Watanabe Yuta, Hachimura Shirakami and Kawamura Yuke came into being. Currently, the Japanese team is considered a strong Asian team, but it still needs to prove itself in terms of hard honors.

After the 2017 Asian Championships were renamed to the Asian Cup, the Australian men's basketball team won consecutive championships and maintained their dominance! The Chinese men's basketball team won the championship in a total of 16 times, which is the most popular in history, but the Chinese men's basketball team lost to Lebanon in the quarterfinals in the 2022 Asian Cup, missing the semi-finals, creating the second worst result in team history.

The Japanese team with Yuki Kawamura also has a number of naturalized players such as Hawkinson, Cork, and Evans. They are one of the favorites in the championship. Do you think the Japanese team will win the championship in the end?
