LeBron James and the Lakers ended with a worrying ending
Los Angeles Lakers lost to the Minnesota Timberwolves 113-116 in Game 4 of the first round, and fell 1-3 in the series. A foul by the Timberwolves at the final moment of the game led to an Anthony Edwards turnover being judged as a foul on LeBron James. A unique camera angle clearly shows that James touched Edwards' wrist instead of the ball.
After further verification, LeBron James was sentenced to be fouled against Anthony Edwards. At the critical moment, Ant-Man made both free throws and led by 3 points. The Timberwolves finally won a crazy fourth game.🍿
Good or bad punishment? 🤔
The Lakers almost won the biggest score in the season, but the offense in the final stage of the game failed to do so. Despite obvious evidence that this was a foul on James, Lakers fans were still upset about it after the game.
"It's total nonsense, there's no foul on the field. You can't foul. The foul is out of bounds," @Johnjoeunion wrote on X.
"cheat," @AbeBaitse wrote.
"Now they suddenly started using Hawkeye cameras? When did it happen?" @RunLamarRun wrote.
"Mike, how can you do this? You can't challenge a foul-free penalty?!! Am I crazy?" @K1ng_lou wrote.
"The NBA referee sucked and ruined the game we love." @eskeleto_15 wrote.
The reality is that the Lakers are now behind 1-3 in the series and have reached the point of fighting against the enemy. Overall, James and Luca Doncic performed well, with Rames scoring 27 points on 5-for-9 and Doncic scoring 38 points on 13-for-28. Hachimura also scored 23 points on 9 of 16 shots. James and Doncic played for 46 minutes, fully reflecting the importance of head coach JJ Redick in this game. The Lakers will return to home court to prepare for the fifth game of a life-and-death battle on Wednesday. Fortunately, James and Doncic can get two days off after playing so much time in Game 4. It would be a surprise if they weren't asked to play as much time to save the Lakers' season.
After a heartbreaking defeat in Game 4, it will be interesting to see how the Lakers perform in Game 5.
