May 26th News In March, Celtics star Jaylen Brown suffered a partial meniscus tear, but he has not finally decided whether to undergo surgery.

According to Celtics Blog reporter Noa Dalzell, Brown talked about his injuries when attending his latest sneaker launch event in Boston a few days ago. This is also his first public appearance since the Celtics were upset by the Knicks in the second round of the playoffs.

Brown said: "I still need to find a lot of doctors to evaluate the possibility of surgery and non-operativeness, and then communicate with the (Celtics) team. At present, I am just resting and recovering. This season is too long and I have experienced a lot of mentally."

Brown's personal performance this season is still outstanding, playing in 63 games, averaging 22.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.5 assists per game, and was selected for the All-Star for the fourth time in the past five seasons. However, the Celtics missed the NBA championship, and Brown also admitted that, "I thought I should still play games now, rather than release sneakers."

It is worth mentioning that the sneakers released by Brown this time belong to his own brand he founded in September last year, rather than cooperating with a big-name sports company. In addition to sneakers, the brand has also launched a complete clothing product line. Brown hopes this will inspire more athletes to embark on the road to entrepreneurship.

"It is an achievement to be able to truly launch a brand," Brown said. "Choose to start an independent business and build your own brand... For a highly-known athlete, this situation is not common at this stage of my career. This is a high-risk choice, but I hope the next generation knows that all this is possible."

At the press conference, Brown talked to the fans about the team's prospects for next season, and also said that the fans' support for him to start the brand gave him great motivation. According to Noa Dalzell, this is the first time in Brown's career plans to stay in Boston all summer.

"I've been active in the community, but I'm going to be more deeply involved this summer," Brown said. "I really want to stay in touch with this community and stay here to help the city of Boston." The Celtics face a lot of uncertainty this summer, with reports from ESPN and other parties pointing out that in order to alleviate the pressure on luxury taxes, the team may trade some high-paying players. Since Brown signed a super maximum salary contract, there are speculation that he might be on the tradeable list as well. But Brown himself hopes to stay in the team and lead the team to the championship again after Tatum recovers from Achilles tendon surgery.
