Tudor is suspected of saying goodbye, Bonucci may return to coach, Juventus can ensure qualifying for the Champions League one round ahead of time

According to the news from the Turin Sports Daily and the football market website, Juventus is considering bringing Bonucci back to the club as a coach, perhaps a youth team coach, or even a first-team coach, depending on who the team's next head coach is.
Friday report claimed that Bonucci met with old friend Chiellini in Rome earlier this week, and the two also had dinner with sports director Gene Toli, and had discussed Bonucci's return. The Turin Sports Daily said that the possibility of Bonucci being a coach in Continas is "increasing".
Since the end of the 2023-24 season, Bonucci has been learning various coaching courses, and began working as an assistant coach under Italian U20 coach Bernardo Corradi in October last year.
Chiellini is also expected to take on a new role in the Zebra Legion. Earlier this week, head of director Francesco Calvo reportedly resigned and will take over as CEO of Premier League team Aston Villa.
Returning to the club as head of football agency relations, Chiellini may take over some of Calvo's responsibilities in the Italian Football Association and the European Football Club Association, believing that he will receive a new title in the future.
Juventus coach Tudor emphasized at a pre-match press conference that he was "no less than anyone", but Turin Sports believes that the words of the Croatian coach sounded "like a farewell."
Tudor's future in the Zebras is very uncertain, the coach's contract will expire after the end of this season, and the club will discuss with him after the Club World Cup this summer whether it is possible to renew the contract.
Multiple sources reported that Juventus' former midfielder and head coach, Napoli coach Conte is the main target of the Zebras' change of coach next season, although his contract with Napoli lasts until June 2027.
Tudor commented on recent speculation about his future at a press conference on Friday, insisting that he doesn't feel he is inferior to anyone. He also argued that when he took over Mota in March, the team found itself in a "aby" and defended his players, saying they had been going all out during this period.
The Turin Sports Daily pointed out on Saturday that Tudor's words "sounded like a farewell", implying that the Croatians are about to leave, regardless of whether Juventus is eligible for the Champions League next season. The
Zebras are currently ranked fourth, tied for 64 points with Lazio, but their record of confrontation with Lazio is better, meaning they will secure fourth place if they win the last two games of the season against Udinese and Venice.
In theory, there are still six teams in the Serie A who have the opportunity to win the last UEFA Champions League place, but if certain conditions are met, Juventus can secure fourth place in the standings this weekend.
In the 2025-26 season, four Italian teams will participate in the Champions League. Naples, Inter Milan and Atlanta have booked their positions: Inter and Naples will finish the season with their previous two results, and Atlanta will be guaranteed to finish third regardless of the results of the last two games.
This gives Juventus (fourth, 64 points), Lazio (fifth, 64 points), Roma (fifth, 63 points), Bologna (sixth, 62 points), AC Milan (eighth, 60 points) and Fiorentina (ninth, 59 points) theoretically all the chance to enter the top four.
However, Juventus is the only team that has the potential to secure fourth place in advance after the penultimate round of the league. To achieve this, Juventus needs to beat Udinese, while Lazio, Roma and Bologna all have to lose. If any of these three teams draws or wins in this round, the Champions League qualification competition will enter the final round.
In this weekend's schedule, Juventus will face Udinese at home, Lazio will face Inter Milan away, Roma will face Milan at the Olympic Stadium, and Bologna will face Fiorentina away, all of which will begin at the same time on Sunday.
It is crucial that if two teams have the same points in the end, they will first compare the results of each other, then the number of goals in the head-on confrontation, and finally the overall number of goals (the teams involving winning the championship or relegation have the same points, then the playoff will be played).
If Juventus beat Udinese and Lazio, Roma and Bologna lose, the Zebras will lead Roma and Bologna with one game left. Although Juventus only led Lazio three-pointers, Juventus defeated the Blue Eagles 1-0 in October last year, and the two teams drew 1-1 last weekend, with their mutual record with the Blue and White Army.
If Lazio or Roma wins or draws this weekend, or Bologna wins, no matter what the result of Juventus v Udinese, there will still be multiple teams with the chance to qualify for the Champions League before entering the final round.
