Ronaldo is involved in Riyadh s winning transfer plan, stops introducing two Premier League stars

Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly asked Saudi club Riyadh to win and abandon the signing program against Arsenal star Gabriel Martinelli and advised the team to turn their attention to other goals.

According to Sky Sports, Ronaldo hopes that Riyadh will win and stop chasing Liverpool striker Louis Dias and Martineli's plans. The Portuguese superstar is trying to play a more comprehensive leader role in the team — not only on the court, but off the court and transfer strategy as well.

Previously, the Qatar's Gulf Times revealed that in this new contract, Ronaldo proposed a special clause: he hopes to gain the right to participate in club transfer decisions. This request was approved by Saudi investors, and now, Ronaldo has quickly shown his leading role in transfer affairs.

According to Spanish "World Sports", Riyadh Victory submitted a offer of up to 85 million euros (about 73 million pounds) to Arsenal, hoping to introduce Brazilian striker Martinelli. However, after Ronaldo intervened, the club decided to withdraw the offer and turn its target to another Brazilian genius - Real Madrid striker Rodrigo. Ronaldo's influence has emerged, and many players may leave the team. This series of operations shows that Ronaldo plays an important role in the team building strategy of winning Riyadh in the new season. Shortly after his contract renewal, the club parted ways with Colombia striker Duran, although the latter only joined from Aston Villa at the end of last year for £65 million and performed well in the early stages, scoring four goals in three games.

It is reported that Ronaldo is dissatisfied with Duran's performance gradual decline. With his condition fluctuated, the Colombia striker has never been able to find his best position around Ronaldo. Eventually, he was loaned to the Turkish team Fenerbahce.

In addition, former Bayern star Sadio Mane may also leave Riyadh to win this summer. There are signs that Ronaldo's position in the locker room is becoming increasingly consolidated, and his impact on the team's lineup adjustment is becoming increasingly obvious.
