"We have unblocked these accounts and are reviewing our internal procedures. The club sincerely apologizes to those affected, and we continue to support peace and inclusion and firmly oppose all forms of abuse and discrimination."

25-year-old Solomon was loaned to Leeds United last season, and he helped the team win the Championship and scored 10 goals. Tottenham shared his photos on social media as part of multiple updates to the player’s life. According to the Times, Tottenham has a system that automatically bans those directly insulting players' accounts. However, these specific posts did not meet the club's standard of "malicious communication" but were still banned. The

Club's statement continued: "Spurs are proud of the rich diversity in all communities and global fan groups, and that any form of abuse and discrimination has no foothold in our clubs, games and in the wider society."

"Under our published sanctions and ban policies, the club reserves the right to take action against individuals who use discriminatory, threatening or abusive language, whether on the court or online. This may include reporting, deleting or hiding comments, and in some cases, banning illegal accounts – a process that is automated through online tools deployed by the club, in addition to Platform X."
