In the Italian Cup final, Bologna defeated Milan 1-0 and won the championship. Milan legend Panucci commented on the game.
Panucci, who served as Mediaset's commentator, first said: "Bologna deserves the championship because they show confidence and courage on the court. Milan is under tremendous pressure and is always affected by the opponent's high pressing. I see that Milan players are in many ways, especially defenders, who have never tried to pass forward and get rid of this pressing pressure, but always pass back to the goalkeeper."
Panucci also praised Bologna coach Idalino: "We should praise him. He took over after Mota left and lost Calafiori and Zilkize last summer, but he has Castro and Dalinga. I really have to highly praise Idalino, he did an incredible job."
